Why Catholic?
We hope those parishioners who have not experienced the sense of community generated by the Why Catholic? program will do so this year.
Our final year will focus on "Christian Prayer:Deepening My Experience of God."
In the words of Sister Joan Chittister, OSB this season has the potential to "Lead us beyond the choas within ourselves and find where God hides in our hearts."
The weekly Small Group sessions will begin the week of Feb. 14.

Stephen Ministers Care For People Facing Tough Times
Who and what are Stephen Ministers? They are the members of St. Albert's Parish who provide CONFIDENTIAL, one-to-one christian care to individuals in the parish who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. A Stephen Minister walks beside a person who is hurting and is someone who will "be there" for you, meeting faithfully for about an hour each week, for as long as they are needed. They receive over 50 hours of training in providing emotional and spiritual care. They listen, care, pray, support and encourage. They provide support when faced with a crisis or difficulty such as---Loss of loved one, Aging, Divorce, Separation, Loneliness, Unemployment, Relocation, A terminal illness, and many more.
Stephen Ministry is Christ Caring for People through People.
Stephen Ministry is YOUR Ministry. Here is what we can all do: Pray for God to bring hope and healing to hurting people. Accept Care from a Stephen Minister during your time of need. Tell a friend, neighbor, coworker,or relative who is hurting about Stephen Ministry. Consider becoming a Stephen Minister.

Dr. Al Keller share his talent of singing with us at our new lecturn.
"If faith is lacking, it is because there is too much selfishness, too much concern for personal gain. For faith to be true. It has to be generous and loving. Love and faith go together: they complete each other."
-Mother Theresa
We gather together anxiously awaiting to go to our new church under the leadership of Bishop Taylor.
