The Ladies Auxiliary officer installation and lunch that were scheduled for Thursday, June 17th, has been postponed until September.

Stephen Ministers Care For People Facing Tough Times

Who and what are Stephen Ministers?   They are the members of St. Albert's Parish who provide CONFIDENTIAL, one-to-one christian care to individuals in the parish who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. A Stephen Minister walks beside a person who is hurting and is someone who will "be there" for you, meeting faithfully for about an hour each week, for as long as they are needed.  They receive over 50 hours of training in providing emotional and spiritual care. They listen, care, pray, support and encourage. They provide support when faced with a crisis or difficulty such as---Loss of  loved one, Aging, Divorce, Separation, Loneliness, Unemployment, Relocation, A terminal illness, and many more.

   Stephen Ministry is Christ Caring for People through People. 

Stephen Ministry is YOUR Ministry. Here is what we can all do:  Pray for God to bring hope and healing to hurting people. Accept Care from a Stephen Minister during your time of need. Tell a friend, neighbor, coworker,or relative who is hurting about Stephen Ministry.  Consider becoming a Stephen Minister.

Are you keeping up with your pledge?

We are in our fourth year of our pledges, it is with these pledges to help build that we have come this far.  Thanks to all who are on target, paid in advance, or are willing to give a little more.  We have started to repay the Diocese. Our committment is for 10 years, we hope to pay it off in less time.  It all depends on all  of us.
