Father opened with a prayer.
Lisa asked that the minutes from the last meeting be passed to each committee for perusal. The minutes were approved.
Fred Dice is to follow up with Collie and Dayco on the problems with the windows.
LITURGY – BONNI GALEWSKI
Sunday Masses will be as follows:
Mass for CRE will be begin October 5 at 6:00 pm. It will be held every other month. Father Mathew will also say Mass on Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
A discussion of the placement of the holy water fonts water ensued. Fred Dice made a motion to leave things as they are. Tom seconded the motion. The water fonts will remain as they are.
The chairs in the vestibule will be moved.
It was decided that a rack be purchased to display the envelopes, flyers. Arline will check with St. James to find out who purchased theirs.
A discussion ensued concerning the temperature in the Church. The temperature is set for 80 degrees in summer and 60degrees in winter when there is no Mass. The temperature is set for 72 degrees during mass and 80 degrees when at rest.
A discussion ensued concerning the necessity of having greeters at the door. It was decided to keep the greeters.
The new heads of the Ushers are Gus Ludwig & Charley Nowak.
It was determined that help was needed in all the ministries.

EDUCATION – PHYLLIS STEPHENS FOR COLLEEN MCKENZIE
August 21 will begin enrollment for CRE. A breakfast will be served. Education is asking for help with the program.
SOCIAL JUSTICE – OUT OF TOWN
PARISH LIFE – JUDY STANPHILL/PHYLLIS STEPHENS
Worked/working with various committees, and the Pot Luck.
FINANCE & ADMININSTRATION –JAKE JACOBSON
A report of the prior fiscal year was given to the church community on Sunday, along with a new budget and mortgage status. He is working with Father on getting an audit of parish funds.
BUILDING & GROUNDS – TOM STANPHILL
Just working as usual keeping up the building and grounds. Still working on replacement of the water fountain.
COMMUNICATIONS – TOM SHAW
Will check with the Heber Springs chamber to see about adding the Pavilion to our information there and linking our website to theirs.
Unable to reach Joe Dailey regarding helping with English as a Second Language. Will continue efforts so that the ESL program may be restarted.
Two in-services for the alarm system held or personal instruction given. The problem has not changed.
STEWARDSHIP – RON SCOTT
This fall there will be a pledge drive and survey. The parish directory will be done in house this fall.
Per Father, the relic from the old church can be displayed.
PROJECTS – FRED DICE
He still has the sign for the Church. He will have to drill in the stone. Tom Stanphill with show him where it is to go.
Phyllis Stephens did a FYI. Fred Dice and Tom Stanphill were responsible for the cabinet and the fence. Kernoal Stephens stained the cabinet.
Pavilion – A revision is to be made to rental agreement for the Pavilion. The words “& other not for profit organizations will be removed.
NEW BUSINESS - NONE

A discussion of Liturgical dance ensued. It was mentioned that it is a distraction from the Mass. In the future, it should be at the entrance of the service
PASTORS REPORT – Father Mathew
The next meeting will be October 27, 2011 at 1:00 pm. The Finance Committee will be October 13, 2011 after Mass.
Father Mathew ended the meeting with a prayer.
